  The magazine, which publishes 6 times a year after each couple of months, was launched in 2000 and circulated 4 issues in 2000 and 2001.

What We Do?
We solely work for the ICT promotion in Afghanistan in order to bridge the Digital Gape in and out side the country. How we do this is outlined in the following bullets.

  • Organizing workshops and seminars
  • Organizing brain storming sessions among the IT professionals
  • Publishing magazine, flairs and hand outs in order to aware the public with new technologies and IT needs of the country
  • Make efforts to share information and knowledge on ICT issue of Afghanistan with other international organizations
  • Lobbying for the IT market with different government entities
  • Lobbying for the standardization, policy making and regulation of ICT sector in Afghanistan
  • Working on the localization issues in the country in order to address the local content development issues
  • Organizing research sessions on the new technologies in the country
  • Facilitating efforts to transfer technology between rural and urban areas of the country
  • Lobbying for the implementation of E-Governance in the government administration, so as to improve public services and to enhance people’s participation in the community and government activities
  • Recognizing that tele-medicine and distance-learning are useful tools in overcoming the difficulties of geographic conditions in the Afghanistan, we lobby for the promotion and development of relevant applications in these fields
  • We lobby for improvement of the environment for online economic activities, through such measures as establishing laws on electronic signatures and authentication of network users’ identities
  • We brain storm on security in cyberspace issues, including the prevention of cyber crime
  • We lobby for the use of distance learning, in order to expand opportunities for training or education for people living in remote locations
  • We work for strengthening co-operation between the public and private sectors in developing human resources and improving ICT literacy, as well as international co-operation
