Who can be Member?
Membership of the association is open to technicians, managers, teachers or other professional Persons engaged in Information Technology provided they fulfill the requirements prescribed by the Association.

Depending on qualification and experience; the membership of the Association is divided into seven Classes, viz. Core Members, Members, Associates, Fellows, Affiliates, Corporate Affiliates and Students, on the criteria Summarized below.


A: Core members: These are the individuals who were the founders of the Association and those members who remained Member for at least 2 year.
B: Members: An individual is eligible for Membership if he/she holds a Bachelor Degree in IT, has practical experience in IT for a minimum of 4 years. And has remained an Associate for at least one year.
C: Associates: An individual is eligible to become an Associate if he/she holds diploma or Certificates in IT, which is acceptable to the association or has qualified the examination of the association or has been associated with a profession in the field of IT for minimum period of 2 years.
D: Fellows: To be appointed by the Council in view of an individual having contributed consistently distinguished services over a long period of time to the uplift of the IT profession at home or abroad, or to an individual outside the IT profession on whom the association wishes to confer an award to honor his services to the nation on the economic social/scientific/technological fronts.
E: affiliates: An individual with age not less than 25 years with practical experience of 1 year in his profession and who is involved with Information Technology shall be eligible to become an Affiliate Member. The Affiliate Member will not be entitled to vote or contest elections.
F: Corporate Affiliates: Corporate bodies and organization shall be eligible to become Corporate Affiliates if they are currently utilizing marketing marinating Hardware or Software or are desirous to utilize/market or maintain IT facilities.
G: Students: A "Student Member" means registered students of Institutions of Higher Learning pursuing a Diploma, Degree or Postgraduate qualification related to ICT and computing. Student members shall be accorded all privileges of membership but are not entitled to membership.
