  The magazine, which publishes 6 times a year after each couple of months, was launched in 2000 and circulated 4 issues in 2000 and 2001.

Finances of the Computer Science bimonthly:
Two-monthly Budget:
Salaries and Wages: USD1,500.00
Printing and Stationary: USD 1000.00
Total: USD2,500.00

 

Annual Budget:
Salaries and Wages: USD30,000.00
Printing and Stationary: USD12,000.00
Total: USD42,000.00

 

Incoming Funds: The main source of incoming funds of the publication is personal donations; besides it has a small amount of returns from its sales and also can generate income from publishing advertisements in the future.

 

Financial/Fundraising Policy: The Association as a whole accepts funds from all those entities which support ICT development in Afghanistan. These funds will be solely used for the objectives outlined in the Association’s Constitution. The funds given by the entities for the achievements of their illicit goals will never be accepted by the association for any of its projects.

However, The Computer Science has never approached any organization for funding the program it has its choice to approach more than one organization to support its activities.

Audit: The Accounts of the Computer Science bimonthly shall be audited annually by the Approved Auditor appointed at the Publication Team meetings. The internal Audit will be done by the Finance department of the Association and the external audit will be performed by selected entity. Besides, its donors and funders can keep an eye on the books and can audit its accounts at any time during the operational year, with a one month prior notice to the Computer Science bimonthly in this case.
